Part 1

President Nick graduated, leaving the orchestra in the hands of the indecisive and uncharismatic Emil, his sleazy treasurer; Zamari, and the composer with a god complex; Annelie.

A power struggle ensues as Annelie finds herself increasingly frustrated with the decision of the new board, which is compounded by the fact that Zamari is her ex-boyfriend. The final straw took place during a reading, in which, one of Annelie's pieces was cut from the program. Angered by this, Annelie plotted to overthrow the duo by forcing a vote-of-no-confidence.

Will she gain the support needed to pull off a successful coup?

Bluebells (winter)

Part 2

WIP

Annelie is now the orchestra's president, and with Candor and Ilyas firmly on her side, her control over the treasury, the art direction and the executive power is uncontested.

Her goal is clear, she wants to win gold, but to what extent will she go to to get it?

Will her old allies and the newly accepted opera singers want the same?

Will the choir and the orchestra see eye to eye?

And finally, will Annelie live up to her promises and be good president she thought herself to be?

Music

The music of 'Bluebells', composed by Lilianne Coeverden, serves as an integral part of the story. The live musicians double as actors, and play a role in the plot as 'Bluebells' tells the story of an orchestra.

Liv Virginia Licursi | NY/LA Director

"Bluebells reminded me of what it feels like to care deeply about a student group & how messy things can be when complicated relationships become intertwined with passion. I can’t wait to see where Bluebells goes!"
